Eleven people, one room
Our atelier sits above a tram depot on the edge of Porto. You hear the trams before you see the tables. Every coat, trouser and shirt we sell passes through this room at least twice.
Small runs mean the people who cut a pattern are the same people who press the final seam. Mistakes get noticed, and so do happy accidents.
The press
The steam press is older than the company. It takes twenty minutes to warm up and nobody is allowed to replace it.
